In Croatia, Crevatin families are mainly Croats (from Rovinj ), equally Italians (from Buje ), and very rarely Macedonians (from Pula ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Slovenia and in Rovinj area.
Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Crevatin live in Croatia today, in 17 households. There were 20 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 60 percent. They are only located in four Croatian cities and threee other places, mostly in Rovinj (10), Buje (<10), Pula (<10), Nova Vas in Buje area (<5), and in Umag (<5).

Family name Crevatin is present in 12 countries worldwide.
