Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Cesarić live in Croatia today, in 18 households. There were 50 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are only located in in 6 Croatian cities and threee other places, mostly in Cres on the Island of Cres (10), Molve in Djurdjevac area (10), Mali Losinj on the Island of Losinj (<10), Zadar (<5), and in Poljana on the Island of Ugljan (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1614 in source Catholic Church Parish Records.
