In Croatia, Burlović families are generally Croats (from Buzet area ), very rarely Albanians, and . In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Rijeka and Zagreb. In Trstenik in Buzet area every fifth inhabitant had the family name Burlović.
Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Burlović live in Croatia today, in 17 households. There were 50 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, in 6 cities and two other places, mostly in Rijeka (<10), Pula (<10), Buzet (<10), Zagreb (<5), and in Ilova (<5).
