In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Karlovac and in Duga Resa area. In Ivanković Selo in Karlovac every fourth inhabitant had the family name Breberina.
Prevalence
About 60 people with faimily name Breberina live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 120 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, four cities and 13 other places, mostly in Karlovac (15), Zagreb (10), Sisak (<10), and in Vojisnica (<10) and Medjedjak Utinjski (<10) in Duga Resa area.
