Bradić families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Velika Gorica area , rarely Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zagreb and Krizevci. In Općevac in Cazma every third inhabitant had the family name Bradić.
Prevalence
About 650 people with faimily name Bradić live in Croatia today, in 270 households. There were 740 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 10 percent. They are located in almost all Croatian counties, in 35 cities and 82 other places, mostly in Zagreb (120), Donji Hrusevec in Velika Gorica area (25), Opcevac (25), Velika Gorica (20), and in Sesvete (20).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1902 in source Hartmann's General List of Apartments in Zagreb.
