In Croatia, Biskupić families are almost entirely Croats (from the Island of Pag ), very rarely Italians (from Pula ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born on the Island of Pag and in Beli Manastir area.
Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Biskupić live in Croatia today, in 15 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are only located in in 6 Croatian cities and two other places, mostly in Novalja on the Island of Pag (15), Osijek (<10), Valpovo (<10), Rijeka (<5), and in Zagreb (<5).
