Bertetić families are Croats and they are mostly from Pazin area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Pula and in Pazin area. In Kurili in Rovinj area every fourth inhabitant had the family name Bertetić.
Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Bertetić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 50 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 90 percent. They are only located in threee Croatian cities and 8 other places, mostly in Pula (25), Rovinj (20), Kurili in Rovinj area (<10), Pazin (<10), and in Gracisce in Pazin area (<10).

Family name Bertetić (including: Bertetic , Bertetich ) is present in four countries on three continents.
