About 20 people with faimily name Benašić live in Croatia today, in 11 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number halved. They are located in four Croatian counties, in 7 cities and two other places, mostly in Zagreb (<10), Djakovo (<5), Ratkovica (<5), Osijek (<5), and in Bucje (<5).
