Belužić families are Croats and they are mostly from Zlatar area. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Zlatar area and in Zagreb. In Delkovec in Zlatar area every seventh inhabitant had the family name Belužić.
Prevalence
About 150 people with faimily name Belužić live in Croatia today, in 60 households. There were 150 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 26 other places, mostly in Zagreb (30), Drenovci in Zupanja area (15), Kutina (10), Velika Veternicka in Lepoglava area (10), and in Cakovec (<10).

Family name Belužić is present in three countries on two continents.
