Arsić families are mainly Serbs and they are mostly from middle Bosnia , whereas often Croats (from Pula ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Serbia and in Vukovar.
Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Arsić live in Croatia today, in 50 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number doubled. They are located in 10 Croatian counties, in 12 cities and 11 other places, mostly in Borovo in Vukovar area (40), Pula (15), Zagreb (15), Rijeka (10), and in Kistanje in Knin area (<10).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1925 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
