In Croatia, Aličić families are predominantly Croats (from Petrinja ), less frequently Bosniaks (from the Island of Ciovo ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Cazins Region, Bosnia (Bosanska Krupa area) and in Zagreb. In Mrazovac in Cazins Region (Bosnia) every fiftieth inhabitant had the family name Aličić.
Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Aličić live in Croatia today, in 16 households. They are located in 8 Croatian counties, in 10 cities and threee other places, mostly in Split (15), Zagreb (<10), Petrinja (<10), Pula (<5), and in Crikvenica (<5).
