Alaburić families are Croats and they are mostly from the Island of Pag. According to some sources they are from Lokve Rogoznice. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born on the Island of Pag and in Split.
Prevalence
About 70 people with faimily name Alaburić live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 40 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 50 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties, in 8 cities and two other places, mostly in Omis (10), Zagreb (10), Mali Losinj on the Island of Losinj (<10), Pag on the Island of Pag (<10), and in Zadar (<10).
Outside Croatia
Family name Alaburić is present in three countries on two continents. The family name "Alaburic " is used by small number of people in the United States.
