About 80 people with faimily name Žiga live in Croatia today, in 40 households. There were 80 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 15 cities and 5 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Nova Bukovica in Slatina area (<10), Sesvete (<10), Donja Dubrava in Koprivnica area (<10), and in Novaki Petrovinski (<10).
