Prevalence
Only a few people with faimily name Šunj live in Croatia today, in four households only. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in only five Croatian places: in Dugi Rat in Omis area (<5), Split (<5), and in Kuna Peljeska (<5), Trstenik (<5) and Pijavicino (<5) on the Peljesac peninsula.
