Surname Šuh in modern Croatia

In Croatia, Šuh families are Croats (from Knin area ). In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Middle Bosnia (Sarajevo area) and in Osijek. In Pijavice in Podrinje (Bosnia) every third inhabitant had the family name Šuh.

Prevalence

Only a few people with faimily name Šuh live in Croatia today, in two households only. There were 30 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased significantly.
They are located in threee Croatian counties, two cities and another small place , mostly in Osijek (<5), Gracac in Knin area (<5), and in Makarska (<5).
