Šeparović families are Croats and they are mostly from the Island of Korcula. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born on the Island of Korcula and in Split.
Prevalence
About 760 people with faimily name Šeparović live in Croatia today, in 340 households. There were 280 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number more than doubled. They are located in the most of Croatian counties, in 21 cities and 19 other places, mostly in Blato (305) and Vela Luka (205) on the Island of Korcula, Split (85), Zagreb (85), and in Korcula on the Island of Korcula (30).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1927 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
