About 50 people with faimily name Šelebaj live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 20 percent. They are located in four Croatian counties and 7 other places, mostly in Zagreb (20), Vukovar (<10), Slavetic (<10), Dol in Jastrebarsko area (<5), and in Velika Gorica (<5).
Outside Croatia
At least two families with this surname emigrated from Croatia to the United States (1) and Canada (1). Family name Šelebaj is present in this form only in Croatia.
