Prevalence
About 90 people with faimily name Šećer live in Croatia today, in 30 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number increased by 50 percent. They are located in two Croatian counties, four cities and 5 other places, mostly in Split (65), Kastel Sucurac (<10), Primorski Dolac in Trogir area (<10), Zagreb (<5), and in Solin (<5).
