Prevalence
About 40 people with faimily name Čopor live in Croatia today, in 20 households. There were 60 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number decreased by 30 percent. They are only located in threee Croatian cities and 7 other places, mostly in Zagreb (25), Krapina Selo in Zlatar area (<10), Prigorje Brdovecko in Zapresic area (<5), Bedenica in Sveti Ivan Zelina area (<5), and in Varazdin (<5).
Outside Croatia
Family name Čopor (including: Copor , Czopor and Chopor ) is present in 8 countries on three continents. "Czopor " is used by some 200 people in Poland and small number in the United States.
