In Croatia, Červik families are mainly Czechs (from Daruvar area ), rarely Croats (from Grubisno Polje ), and . In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Daruvar and Grubisno Polje.
Prevalence
About 10 people with faimily name Červik live in Croatia today, in two households only. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number remains constant. They are located in only threee naselja i to in Brestovacka Brda in Daruvar area (<10), and in Ceminac (<5) and Novi Ceminac (<5) in Beli Manastir area.
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned few times, the first time 1930 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
