Ćoso families are mainly Croats and they are mostly from Zadar area , often Serbs. In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Benkovac and Zadar. In Gornja Jagodnja in Benkovac area every fifth inhabitant had the family name Ćoso.
