In the past century, relatively most of Croatian residents bearing this family name were born in Niksic, Montenegro and in Dubrovnik.
Prevalence
About 30 people with faimily name Ćorović live in Croatia today, in 17 households. There were 10 of them in the middle of the past century, and their number tripled. They are located in 6 Croatian counties, in 6 cities and threee other places, mostly in Rijeka (<10), Dubrovnik (<10), Split (<10), Pazin (<5), and in Zagreb (<5).
In the sources analysed in the project Acta Croatica so far, the name is mentioned over ten times, the first time 1929 in source Emigration Commission Zagreb.
