The Croatian Catholic Mission Graz covers the area of the Graz-Seckau diocese, the province of Steiermark. The headquarters of the Mission are in Graz, and the branches are: Leoben, Kapfenberg, Knittelfeld, Liezen, Bad Aussee, Mürzzuschlag, St. Lambrecht, Wagna and Eisenerz. The mission activities are diverse and particularly emphasized in the religious, cultural and charitable field.
Short history
The Croatian Catholic Mission Graz officially operates in Styria since June 1, 1967, when it was founded by Bishop Msgr. Josef Schoiswohl at the dedication of the Zagreb Archbishop, Cardinal Dr. Franjo Šeper. The Croatian Catholic Mission Graz becomes a personal parish in 1978.
