No idea if we are related? But my name is Lorne Lemick from Canada. Born in 1956 in Toronto. My Grandfather emigrated to Canada. Not sure what year. 1800's?? I believe that our original name was spelt either Lemic, or Lemich? Probably changed when they got on the boat to come over here. They originally settled in Western Canada as farmers. Came back to the Niagara Region to be Grape Farmers. Any information on your family would be interesting to say the least.
