Ime mog djeda bilo je Anton (ili možda Ante) Tarle. Ime mu majke bila je Maria. Ime mučeg brata bilo je Luka. Ime Marije oca izgleda kao Petar ili Pekar.

Oni su se doselili u Sjedinjene Države 1913. godine. Na brodskom manifestu na otoku Ellis, napisano je da su se uselili iz Velušića.

Jednom u Sjedinjenim Državama ime je postalo "Tarley". Preselio se u Zapadnu Virginiju, oženio se i imao desetero djece.

Nikada nismo imali nikakve veze s nekim mogućim rođakima koji još žive u Hrvatskoj, ili koji su možda uselili nakon djeda.

They immigrated to the United States in 1913. On the ship manifest at Ellis Island, it is written that they immigrated from Velusic.

Once in the United States, the name became spelled "Tarley." He moved to West Virginia, married, and had 10 children.

We have never had any communication with any possible relative still living in Croatia, or who may have immigrated after my grandfather.
