Anton Negric was born in Omisalj, Croatia in 1877 on the island of Krk. He immigrated to America in 1904. His wife Helena (Ilijic) Negric immigrated to America shortly after him. (They had been married in Croatia.) They lived in Brooklyn, NY. He then moved with his family to Connecticut sometime after 1910. Anton died in Connecticut in 1957. Helena died in 1961 in Connecticut. The spelling of Negric was changed to Negrich. And the spelling of Ilijic was changed to Ilich. Anton's mother's surname was Sablic.
