Mate Brnjac, Born 1886 in Croatia came to Southern Rhodesia in Southern Africa in 1924 with his wife Klara Brnjac Born 1893 in Croatia.

They came with three young children, Lubrica, Ivan and Emil and then had another two children born in Southern Rhodesia, Lou and Dennis.

Their extended family remains in Rhodesia (Now Called Zimbabwe), South Africa, Mocambiqe and Australia.
