My late father Marko Ugrina (Rudela) pok Ivan, was born in Rastovac,Marina in 1920.

He immigrated in Canadain 1954  with his wife my late mother Lydia and my brothers Anton and Stefan and myself ( Josephine ).

In 2012, I traveled to Croatia in search of my late father's village, I found his sister Boja Ugrina ( only surviving sibbling) and other members of our family .I also found that there was a testament leaving my late father part  of several lands. Then began my long and challenging quest to make that inheretance ours ( my brothers and mine).

In 2017 I was granted Croatian citizenship. I am greatly proud to be legally Croatian.
