Franz Josef (Franjo Josip) Kindermann was born in Kutina, Hungary (then Hungary) in 1900.  He was drafted to the Yugoslavian army for two years from 1921 to 1923, and left for America to start a new life there.  My grandmother, was his oldest sister born in the same Kutina in 1895, and went to America later in 1912.  Franz is my great uncle.  He and my grandmother were the children of Franz Josef Kindermann (1872-1949) (Wallern, Austria, now Volary, Czechia) and Hermina Hanel (1873-1903) (Dresden, Germany), who were my great-grandparents.  They are buried in Kutina. 

I love family histories and genealogies and visited Croatia in 2008.  It was so wonderful and I hope to come back again!  My grandfather Franz (Franjo) Spannbauer was born in Toranj (near Poszega or is in Pakrac county) in 1890 and went to America in 1907.  My great-grandparents Josef Spannbauer (1849-1912)and Anna Müller (1854-1899) (both of Schönberg, Austria, now Hora Krasna, Czechia).  They are buried in Toranj.
