He was born in Pula but his family and my other ancestors were from Vrbnik, they lived in Pula for a short time and then they migrated ro Rijeka.

He was the brother of Giuseppe Stassich (Stašić), the grandfather of my grandfather, as far as i know, he emigrated in usa, my grandfather had his surname changed to "Stassi" when he migrated to italy at the end of WWII.
