Ante Roncevic was the middle son of Petar Roncevic (son of Nikola Roncevic). Ante was born we believe about 1855. HIs brothers were Mate, Filip, Nikola and Djuro (youngest)

He was raised by his uncle as his father took his brother's place to go to war, his father was unaware that his wife was pregnant.  He was raised by his grandmother and uncle (who we believe had 6 children).

He married on March 19, 1873, with Mara Baricevic in Zelenkovac. The daughter of Nikola Blazov. Ante and Mara started out in Jasenica.

His decesndants live throughout Croatia, - Orahovica, Zagreb,  Nasicima, Rijeka, Zadar, Osijek, Jasenica, etc.... and a line in Australia
