Tinjan

Tinjan is the seat of the municipality (the same name) in Istra County, at an elevation of 319 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 14.82 km² (5.72 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 408 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Croats (95%), but also Italians (2%). Nearby places: Ježenj, Brečevići, Jakovici, Muntrilj, Kringa, Žužići, Vela Traba, Heki, Sveti Petar u Šumi and Brčići.
