Sveti Josip is located in the municipality Bednja, in Varaždin County at an elevation of 424 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 0.42 km² (0.16 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were only three inhabitants left. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Vrhovec Bednjanski, Viletinec, Bednja, Crkovec, Rinkovec, Benkovec, Podgorje Bednjansko, Kamenica, Kameničko Podgorje and Vulišinec.
