Sveti Ivan is located in the municipality Malinska-Dubašnica, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County at an elevation of 85 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 0.78 km² (0.30 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 67 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Croats (90%), but also Slovaks (5%) and Macedonians (3%).
