Štitnjak is located in the City of Požega, in Požega-Slavonia County at an elevation of 180 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 1.80 km² (0.69 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 54 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Marindvor, Golobrdci, Novi Štitnjak, Bankovci, Kunovci, Gornji Emovci, Mihaljevci, Novi Mihaljevci, Emovački Lug and Nova Lipa.
