Šlivnjak is located in the City of Slunj, in Karlovac County at an elevation of 320 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 3.58 km² (1.38 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 17 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Serbs. Nearby places: Veljunski Ponorac, Grobnik, Sparednjak, Veljunska Glina, Mala Crkvina, Mračaj Krstinjski, Trupinjak, Lapovac, Klupica and Vojnović Brdo.
