Potirna is located in the municipality Blato, in Dubrovnik-Neretva County at an elevation of 5 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 2.80 km² (1.08 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 22 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Vela Luka, Blato, Smokvica, Čara, Zavala, Pasadur, Gromin Dolac, Ivan Dolac, Zaklopatica and Humac.
