Pothum Plaščanski is located in the municipality Plaški, in Karlovac County at an elevation of 370 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 19.28 km² (7.44 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 76 inhabitants. It is largely populated by Serbs (80%), but also Croats (19%).
