Podgora Turkovska is located in the City of Delnice, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County at an elevation of 675 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 4.45 km² (1.72 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were only eight inhabitants left. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Požar, Zakrajc Turkovski, Kalić, Gornji Ložac, Turke, Hrvatsko, Hrib, Smrekari, Sedalce and Zamost.
