Orehovica

Orehovica is the seat of the municipality (the same name) in Međimurje County, at an elevation of 159 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 9.81 km² (3.79 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 1.690 inhabitants. It is largely populated by Croats (83%), but also Roms (17%). Nearby places: Vularija, Sveti Križ, Podbrest, Šemovec, Ivanovec, Štefanec, Zamlaka, Totovec, Mala Subotica and Štefanec.
