Očura is located in the municipality Novi Golubovec, in Krapina-Zagorje County at an elevation of 430 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 4.52 km² (1.75 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 77 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Croats.
