Makoše is located in the municipality Župa Dubrovačka, in Dubrovnik-Neretva County at an elevation of 110 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 1.39 km² (0.54 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 168 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Martinovići, Grbavac, Buići, Mandaljena, Čelopeci, Donji Brgat, Petrača, Gornji Brgat, Brašina and Čibača.
