Lipovača is located in the municipality Rakovica, in Karlovac County at an elevation of 175 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 9.11 km² (3.52 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 164 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Croats (92%), but also Serbs (8%). Nearby places: Drežnik Grad, Sadilovac, Irinovac, Stara Kršlja, Grabovac, Čatrnja, Smoljanac, Rakovica, Nova Kršlja and Brajdić Selo.
