Kamenica is located in the municipality Preseka, in Zagreb County at an elevation of 170 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 3.43 km² (1.32 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 65 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Slatina, Pogančec, Hruškovica, Strmec, Žunci, Preseka, Žabnjak, Donja Velika, Šelovec and Krušljevec.
