Jelovice is located in the municipality Lanišće, in Istra County at an elevation of 672 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 13.67 km² (5.28 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 17 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Croats. Nearby places: Dane, Vodice, Brest, Kropinjak, Slum, Trstenik, Krbavčići, Perci, Klenovšćak and Črnica.
