Jakov Polje is located in the City of Novi Vinodolski, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County at an elevation of 278 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 1.59 km² (0.61 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 17 inhabitants. It is largely populated by Croats (83%), but also Serbs (17%). Nearby places: Drinak, Smokvica Krmpotska, Bile, Podmelnik, Klenovica, Ruševo Krmpotsko, Javorje, Luka Krmpotska, Zabukovac and Sibinj Krmpotski.
