Gornji Daruvar is located in the City of Daruvar, in Bjelovar-Bilogora County at an elevation of 190 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 14.29 km² (5.52 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 431 inhabitants. It is relatively populated by Croats (45%), but also Czechs (34%) and Serbs (20%). Nearby places: Ljudevit Selo, Šibovac, Daruvar, Ivanovo Polje, Lipovac Majur, Golubinjak, Donji Daruvar, Doljani, Vrbovac and Daruvarski Vinogradi.
