Gornji Babin Potok is located in the municipality Plitvička Jezera, in Lika-Senj County at an elevation of 560 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 28.20 km² (10.89 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 107 inhabitants. It is predominantly populated by Serbs (91%), but also Croats (9%).
