Gornja Suvaja is located in the municipality Gračac, in Zadar County at an elevation of 590 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 18.90 km² (7.30 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 33 inhabitants. It is entirely populated by Serbs.
