Fazana

Fažana is the seat of the municipality (the same name) in Istra County, at an elevation of 2 meters above sea level and it covers the area of 13.61 km² (5.25 sq. miles). According to the 2011 census report, there were 2.021 inhabitants. It is largely populated by Croats (77%), but also Serbs (10%) and Italians (6%). Nearby places: Valbandon, Peroj, Štinjan, Galižana, Vodnjan, Barbariga, Pula, Loborika and Gajana.
